Rose Petal Creme Brulee
SERVES 8

INGREDIENTS:
Here's an excellent way to redeem yourself for forgetting anniversaries, birthdays, "date nights", or obligatory transport to the hospital under extreme duress in favor of a big bowl of Kettle Corn. A simple 4 oz. ramekin of Rose Petal Creme Brulee later you will be absolved of your sins. 1.5 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Half and Half
4 Eggs
Pinch of Kosher Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
4 Tbs. Rose Water
Few Drops of Red Food Coloring (optional)
4 Tbs. Brown Sugar
Rose Petals for garnish

Method:
-Combine the sugar and half and half in a small saucepan. Bring just to a simmer and remove from heat.
-In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Slowly beat in half and half. Add the salt, vanilla, rose water, and enough red food coloring to turn the mixture pink.
-Pour mixture into ramekins. Bake at 325F for about 45 minutes or until set in a water bath. Allow to cool.
-Cover the surface of each Crème Brulee with brown sugar. With a torch, caramelize the sugar. Garnish with the rose petals.
