| Method: -Combine the sugar and half and half in a small saucepan. Bring just to a simmer and remove from heat. -In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Slowly beat in half and half. Add the salt, vanilla, rose water, and enough red food coloring to turn the mixture pink. -Pour mixture into ramekins. Bake at 325F for about 45 minutes or until set in a water bath. Allow to cool. -Cover the surface of each Crème Brulee with brown sugar. With a torch, caramelize the sugar. Garnish with the rose petals. |
