| Method: -In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Blend in the shortening with your fingers. In the middle of each slice, place a teaspoon of the jam and a teaspoon of the filling. Roll each slice like a jellyroll. Repeat with the other half of the dough. -Place the Rugalech on a greased baking sheet about 1” apart and bake about 12 minutes at 375F. |
